Without realizing it, the time has arrived October.

Looking back at 2026, the wave of AI technology continues to surge forward: cutting‑edge directions such as world models, embodied intelligence, and recursive self‑improvement (RSI) are heating up. AI is moving from understanding and reasoning in virtual environments to modeling and interacting with the physical world, and further exploring the possibilities of autonomous iteration and capability evolution.

As AI shifts from generation and reasoning to environmental interaction and autonomous evolution, how will the next generation of intelligent systems develop? Enabling AI to better understand environments, plan actions, and continuously improve its abilities through ongoing feedback is becoming a frontier issue that both academia and industry are keenly focused on.

From predicting the world, to interacting with it, and then driving its own iteration, these explorations are shaping the possible forms of the next-generation intelligent systems and opening new imaginative space for the future development of artificial intelligence.

As one of the most influential international academic conferences in the field of machine learning, NeurIPS 2026 will bring together researchers from around the world, showcase the latest advances in AI fundamental research and technological innovation, and provide an important window for us to observe cutting‑edge technology trends.

This year, NeurIPS celebrates its 40th edition, taking place in Sydney, Australia from December 6 to 12, 2026, with satellite venues in Atlanta, USA, and Paris, France from December 9 to 13. As global AI research enthusiasm continues to rise, the main track of this NeurIPS received 30,709 valid paper submissions, ultimately accepting 7,900 papers, an acceptance rate of about 25.7%.

To provide AI researchers, developers, and industry professionals with a free, open, and relaxed academic exchange platform, The Machine Heart Initiative will hold the “NeurIPS 2026 Paper Sharing Session” in Beijing on November 21, inviting authors of outstanding papers and industry researchers to share the latest findings, discuss technical insights, and explore new directions worth attention in the AI field.

We welcome friends interested in cutting‑edge AI technology to sign up and participate! If you are an author of an accepted paper at NeurIPS 2026 and wish to share your research results on site, or showcase your work via a poster, you are also invited to scan the QR code below to register and meet more peers face‑to‑face!

Proposed Schedule for the Sharing Session

NeurIPS  paper sharing session will include Keynote, paper presentations, round‑table discussions, and Poster displays, inviting top experts, paper authors, and the audience to engage in academic exchange on hot topics of industry interest.

  • Time: Beijing Time November 21, 09:00-17:30
  • Address:Beijing Zhongguancun Crowne Plaza Hotel 3F (No. 106 Zhichun Road, Haidian District)
  • Offline slots: 200 people
